The importance of controlling the installation

Once the energiser has been installed and the fence erected. It will be necessary to control the fence for adequate efficiency. Preferably with an all round professional tool such as the JOULI-PRO or at a minimum the 15Kv controller (this cannot measure the joules only voltage). If the values are not achieved, firstly control the correct installation of the energiser, measuring the voltage loss at the earth stake and finally the rest of the installation (conductors / insulators / junctions / losses etc…) measuring at different points of the fence.
